The starting price of just $19,000 hasn’t hurt the Trailblazer’s popularity a bit either!

Seen below, check out our five favorite features of the all-new 2021 Chevy Trailblazer! It was hard to keep it to only five things, but we’re sure you’ll quickly find your own. 1) All that style
Between vehicles like the all-new Chevy Blazer, the mid-engine 2020 Corvette and the redesigned 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500, Chevrolet has been hitting styling out of the park in recent years. The 2021 Chevy Trailblazer is a big beneficiary of Chevrolet’s groundbreaking style, dodging the “chubby roller skate” look that plagues many small crossovers with a cantilever-look roof, a high and confident stance, a bold two-tier grille and sculpted character lines that lend a sense of sophistication to every drive.
2) Two-tones!
There was a time in American motoring when all the most beautiful cars were painted in two-tone colors, with their chrome trim and lovely lines accentuated by contrasting hues for a deeper, richer look. We’ve been excited to see two-tone color schemes beginning to find their way back on to dealership lots. That includes the 2021 Trailblazer, which is available in a number of beautiful two-tone options, with the roof in either Zeus Bronze Metallic, Summit White or Metallic Black
3) A Commitment to Safety
At Chevrolet, safety has always been at the forefront of their engineering and thinking. Chevy cars were some of the first to include safety equipment like seatbelts, padded interiors and airbags, and that spirit of innovation has continued to this day. The 2021 Chevy Trailblazer takes safety as a top priority, with over 40 standard and available safety and driver-assistance features, including 10 advanced airbags to surround you and your passengers in a cushion of safety.
4) Trailblazer RS
The RS was born as a trim package for the original, first-generation Chevy Camaro, but has since found its way on to a number of streetwise Chevrolet vehicles, including all-new Chevy Blazer and the Chevy Trailblazer RS! Like its big sister the Blazer RS, the 2021 Trailblazer RS is all about projecting a cool, custom look, with 18-inch high-gloss black allow wheels, a unique grille treatment, dual rear exhaust tips with chrome bezels, LED taillights, and the hot 1.3-liter turbocharged engine under the hood.
5) Phone-friendly technology throughout
Most of us have been walking around with a smartphone in our purse or pocket for almost a decade now, so it’s strange that more car manufacturers don’t make their vehicles as phone-friendly as possible. That’s definitely not the case with the 2021 Trailblazer, which features the technology to sync with your phone from the moment you get behind the wheel. Ditch the wires with available wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, letting your Trailblazer wirelessly access your music, apps, calendar and everything else you need on the go. Phone battery on “E”? The available wireless charging pad makes topping off your phone as easy as placing it on a convenient tray
We’ve only scratched the surface of all the ways the great things going on with the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer, and as soon as you test drive it, we’re sure you’ll have a few favorite things of your own. Think you might want to buy a 2021 Chevy Trailblazer in Fayetteville, Springdale or Bentonville, Arkansas? Then take the next step: stop in today at McLarty Daniel Chevrolet to check out the all-new 2021 Chevy Trailblazer in person, or you can shop our growing selection of 2021 Chevy Trailblazer models online right now.
Three Great Chevy Models for Recent Graduates
Three Great Chevy Models for Recent Graduates
Get out your caps and gowns, Northwest Arkansas! It’s May again, and that means it’s time for the class of 2020 to graduate and move on to the next step of their lives. Whether that’s more education, a career, service in the military or something else, a new graduate is going to need a few things. For most, that includes affordable, reliable, dependable transportation.
With the coronavirus epidemic putting the brakes on traditional graduation ceremonies this year, the Class of 2020 is graduating into a world that’s full of uncertainty. One thing you can always depend on, though, is a great Chevrolet from McLarty Daniel Chevrolet of Springdale. Seen below, check out our top three Chevy vehicles for new graduates. Any of these choices would make a perfect pick for your high school or college grad as they head into their futures.
2020 CHEVY SONIC
STARTING PRICE: $17,595
FUEL ECONOMY: 26 mpg city/34 mpg highway
Nope, that starting price is not a typo. A new grad can own a 2020 Chevy Sonic, factory fresh, with a full GM warranty and the latest features, for about the price of a cheap used car. The 2020 Chevy Sonic is no boring econo-mobile, either. Available in both sedan or the sporty Sonic Hatchback model, the 2020 Sonic is loaded with the technology, safety and fun you want, along with the practicality, fuel economy and low monthly payment you need. Under the hood is a turbocharged 1.4-liter four cylinder delivering surprising horsepower and torque, helping make even short trips all kinds of fun, while the exterior includes the crisp lines and eye-catching details that make the Sonic a head-turner. Simply put, the 2020 Sonic is a home run for those just starting out in life.
2020 CHEVROLET CAMARO
STARTING PRICE: $25,000
FUEL ECONOMY: 22 mpg city/31 mpg highway
That’s right: we’re recommending the iconic Chevy Camaro as a great, economical commuter car for your new grad. A lot of young folks don’t have car seats and kid gear to wrestle in and out before they hit the road, so right after graduation is an excellent time to own Chevy’s Great American two-door coupe, which features seating for five. Nobody does economical and practical with more pizazz than Chevy Camaro. While there are more expensive versions of the Camaro, including the fire-breathing ZL1 and Camaro SS, the base model 1LS Camaro is great choice for a new grad, packing a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine churning out a respectable 275 horsepower while delivering world-beating fuel economy of up to 31 mpg. After all: who says practical can’t be fun too?
2020 CHEVY SPARK
STARTING PRICE: $13,220
FUEL ECONOMY: 30 mpg city/38 mpg highway
Here’s another starting price that will probably make you do a double take, but make no mistake: the 2020 Chevy Spark is a lot of character, reliability, fuel economy and fun in one very affordable package. While it’s definitely a compact car — it’s the smallest vehicle Chevy currently sells in North America — the 2020 Spark goes big on style, with 10 eye-catching colors (including Raspberry, Passionfruit Pink and Orange Burst), a modern shape, and an interior where useful technology and comfort come first. The 2020 Spark is safe, too, including 10(!) standard airbags to surround you and your passengers in a cushion of protection in the event of a crash. Agile and quick, easy to squeeze into even the tightest parking spaces downtown, the 2020 Spark might just be the perfect car to send your new grad out in to face the world.
See? Buying a new vehicle from McLarty Daniel Chevrolet of Springdale doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive, even if you’re just starting out in life. Chevy releases details on the 2021 Tahoe Police Patrol Vehicle
Since 1997, when the first police-issue Chevy Tahoe models were introduced to law enforcement agencies all over America, the Chevy Tahoe has been helping officers fight crime with a near-perfect blend of imposing size, ease of upfitting, performance, high-speed handling, interior comfort, rock-solid reliability and gear-hungry cargo room. McLarty Daniel Chevrolet of Springdale is always proud when we see the Chevy Bowtie on police-edition Tahoes right here in Northwest Arkansas.
Now, the Chevy Tahoe is ready to help the next generation of First Responders. Chevrolet recently released the full details on the all-new 2021 ChevyTahoe Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV), and it looks to be a game changer in the war on crime. Packed with heavy-duty components designed to take on the rigors of life on the beat, a high-performance powertrain built for running down law breakers, and cutting-edge safety features to help officers stay safe, the 2021 Tahoe PPV are the next big thing in law enforcement, coming soon to a department near you.
“Tahoe is the most aspirational vehicle in the law enforcement industry,” said Ed Peper, U.S. vice president, GM Fleet. “By listening to the needs of officers from around the country, we have built the best Tahoe ever.”
Based on the totally-redesigned consumer-grade version of the Chevrolet Tahoe — which in turn borrows styling from the latest generation of Chevy Silverado 1500 — the Tahoe PPV is powered by a high-performance version of GM’s legendary 5.3-liter V8, backed by a 10-speed automatic. Among other upgrades, the engine borrows rocker covers from the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1’s LT4 V8, allowing for improved crankcase ventilation. Both engine oil and transmission fluid gain heavy-duty, high-capacity cooling systems for reliable performance no matter what the speed or the temperature outside. In addition, Chevrolet worked directly with Bridgestone Tires to develop high-speed-rated all-season tires specifically for the 2021 Tahoe PPV. In addition to being less likely to blow out during high speed pursuits, the tires improved stopping distances by a full 11 feet.
To improve high-speed driving, the suspension of the 2021 Tahoe PPV has been heavily massaged as well, including unique monotube shocks, heavier stabilizer bars, a slightly lower ride height and a heavy-duty, clutch-type limited slip rear differential. Bringing things to a safe halt in the Tahoe PPV are heavy duty disc brakes by racing supplier Brembo, including Brembo six-piston front calipers on 16 inch rotors.
Officers will find a lot to like inside the Tahoe PPV as well, including a 140 mile per hour speedometer, the 2021 Tahoe’s class-leading interior space, and new police-specific front seats that allow for comfortable seating while wearing a gun belt. When it’s time to transport suspects, the rear door openings are now 3.5 inches wider than the previous generation of Tahoe, for easier loading of handcuffed passengers.
Technology helps officers work harder and smarter, and the 2021 Tahoe PPV has tech in spades, including an available 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot, a standard HD rear vision camera and Rear Park Assist. Also new in the 2021 model is standard keyless entry and a push button ignition that senses the key fob in an officer’s pocket, allowing them to jump in, push one button and go. Keeping them safe as they do is the Tahoe PPV’s suite of over 40 standard and available safety features, including Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking and Following Distance Indicator.
Here at McLarty Daniel Chevrolet of Springdale, we’re almost as excited to see the first 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe PPV models roll into service with our local law enforcement agencies as we are to see our civilian customers behind the wheel of the redesigned 2021 Tahoe and Suburban! If the Tahoe is tough enough to survive life on patrol and high speed pursuits, just think of what it can do for your family! We’re anxiously awaiting the arrival of the all-new 2021 Tahoe at McLarty Daniel Chevrolet of Springdale. Share our excitement. Stop in today, get the paperwork started, and be one of the first in our area to own the next generation of an American legend: the all-new Chevy Tahoe.
Three stress-busting tips for your next drive
Three stress-busting tips for your next drive
With the world in such flux over Covid-19 and families cooped up at home together, the stress you’re under personally might feel a bit unbearable. Chevrolet and General Motors have tried to take some of the strain off of Chevy owners, introducing innovative programs to help our customers weather this confusing time, but beating stress — which can lead to everything from a diminished immune system all the way up to serious conditions like high blood pressure and strokes — should be top-of-mind right now.
Here at McLarty Daniel Chevrolet of Springdale, we love to drive, and we learned a long time ago that nothing works out the stress better than a nice, long jaunt through the country or a maybe-a-few-mph-over blast down the interstate in your new Chevrolet. These are extra stressful times, however, so check out our tips for making your next drive a supercharged stress buster. Another thing that should give you peace of mind: that McLarty Daniel Chevrolet is here for you during the epidemic and beyond, and we’ve instituted special procedures to make shopping, buying and servicing your next vehicle easy and safe during this time. Give us a call, or check out our big selection of beautiful new and used vehicles at our website today.
RED MEANS STRETCH OUT THE STRESS
One of the worst aspects of stress is just the tension it puts on every muscle in your body, which can lead to headaches, backaches, neck and joint pain and worse. Without the ability to visit your favorite masseuse, you can still get out some of the tension by doing The Stoplight Stretch. Every time you come to a stoplight, grip the wheel tightly, take in a big breath of air, and hold it while trying to tense every muscle in your body simultaneously. Hold that for a count of five. Then, with a whooshing breath, let the air out while relaxing every muscle. You’ll physically feel the tension pour out of your body. Do this as many times as you can until the light turns green.
LISTEN TO SOME BEETHOVEN
While the intricate arrangements and complicated movements of classical music are not to everyone’s taste, master composers like Bach and Beethoven were really onto something. Recent studies have shown that listening to classical music while you drive as opposed to talk radio or other genres can do all kinds of beneficial things to your body, including relieving stress, lowering blood pressure, and even reducing the frequency of tension headaches. Cars have great sound systems, allowing you to feel completely inside the music, and that makes a long drive a great place to listen to some classical music. The next time you’re feeling stressed, take a drive and cue up some classical. If you’re like a lot of people, you’ll come home feeling less stressed.
YELL IT OUT
Taking a long drive in the countryside by yourself is a great, safe way to get away from the demands of family and the worry a lot of us are experiencing right now, and the good thing about the country is that there’s not many people there to hear you, see you or think you’re odd if you’re talking to yourself. Given that, one great way to beat stress during a drive in the countryside is just to let it all come out. Yell. Scream. Have a good cry. Sing your favorite song at the top of your lungs. Unleash a string of words that aren’t fit to print here, or have a long conversation with someone who has passed or The One who is always there to listen to your problems. You’re by yourself, and there’s nobody around, so why not? You’ve got plenty of time to be calm and composed when it counts, but during a drive, you can just let your emotions run free. Better out than having them all bottled up inside, and who is gonna know?
By using these three simple, stress-busting tips during your next drive, you can help yourself stay healthy and prepared for whatever comes next during this interesting time in our nation’s history. From everyone at McLarty Daniel Chevrolet of Springdale, stay safe. We’ll be here when you need us for all your automotive needs.
Designed to dazzle: the refreshed 2022 Chevy Traverse
A lot of things have changed due to coronavirus, and one of those things is the release schedules for Chevy’s latest models. Chevrolet was supposed to have the refreshed and updated 2021 Chevy Traverse on dealer lots early next year, but that’s been pushed back a due to General Motors retooling their factories to build ventilators and personal protective gear to help our frontline healthcare workers fight the war against Coronavirus. The next Traverse will now debut next year as a 2022 model.
The good news for Chevy fans is that Chevrolet released full details on the next-generation Traverse, and we’ve got ’em! Chevrolet has a great thing going with the Chevy Traverse, which is Chevrolet’s third-best selling vehicle, behind the Chevy Silverado and Tahoe, with the Traverse seeing its best-ever sales in 2019, with almost 150,000 sold. Those models join the 1.3 million Traverse models sold since the nameplate debuted in 2009. That’s one popular SUV and it’s easy to see why, with a great blend of style, safety, technology, performance, three-row seating and best-in-class cargo space.
For the next Traverse, Chevy is making a great SUV even better. Is the Chevy Traverse a safe car? You bet it is. Nobody takes safety more seriously than Chevy, and the 2022 Chevy Traverse will feature six advanced safety features standard across all trim levels, including Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert and more.
“With this refreshed Traverse, Chevy will have one of the freshest SUV lineups in the market,” said Steve Majoros, vice president of Chevrolet Marketing. “But it’s more than just looks. Traverse already offers a long list of safety features and will now offer more standard safety features across all trims, in addition to the functionality and style Traverse owners have come to appreciate.”
Externally, the 2022 Traverse will feature an updated front grille with styling that bears a resemblance to the Chevy Blazer, all-new Chevy Trailblazer and Chevy Camaro. Kicking the style up even further will be restyled front and rear fascias, four brand new alloy wheel designs, and signature LED headlamps and tail lamps.
“The new Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban has received an overwhelmingly positive response from consumers,” said Holt Ware, director of Chevrolet exteriors, crossovers and cars. “The new design of the 2022 Traverse gains this new commanding appearance and presence we know Traverse owners will appreciate.”
Inside, the smart sophistication continues, with all-new seating options, the available dual SkyScape 2-panel power sunroof with power sunshade, and an available 8-inch diagonal driver information center. Bringing the technology and keeping you connected is available wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity, a wireless charging pad for your phone, and quick-charge USB ports for all rows of seating.

Five Pioneering Women from Arkansas
Five Pioneering Women from Arkansas
March is Women’s History Month, and Arkansas has been lucky enough over the years to have more than our share of great female political figures, artists, authors, musicians and more. While it’s hard to pick a short list from the many women who have made their mark on the Natural State, we’ll give it a shot. Seen below, check out our spotlight on five truly great women who helped guide not only Arkansas but America and the world. McLarty Daniel Chevrolet of Springdale is proud of these pioneers, and proud to celebrate their accomplishments.
U.S. Senator Hattie Wyatt Caraway
While it might be hard to believe Arkansas was so forward thinking so early, our state was the first in the nation to elect a woman to the U.S. Senate. Hattie Wyatt Caraway’s husband, Thad Caraway, was the state’s U.S. Senator until 1931, when he tragically died while in office. Hattie Caraway was nominated to fill out the remainder of his term, becoming the first woman to ever serve in the Senate, and when that term ended, she became the first woman ever elected to the U.S. Senate, where she served until 1945. In addition, she was the first female senior Senator and the first woman to chair a Senate Committee hearing. Long after her death in 1950, Caraway became the first female Arkansan ever to appear on a U.S. postage stamp in 2001. She is buried in Jonesboro.
Sister Rosetta Tharpe
Born Rosetta Nubin in 1915 near the tiny town of Cotton Plant, Sister Rosetta Tharpe learned about music and singing the way many Arkansans do: through her time spent in the church as a young girl, but also at the knee of her mother Kate Bell “Mother Bell” Nubin, who traveled from church to church in the Delta, singing. Through these early lessons, Tharpe developed both her prowess with several musical instruments, most notably guitar, and her unique singing style. Signed by Decca Records in 1938, Tharpe became an early gospel music superstar, with her passionate playing and singing influencing early Rock and Roll and many of the genre’s most renowned artists, including Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Bob Dylan and scores of others. Thanks to her influence on several genres of music, Tharpe, who died in 1973, was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
Maya Angelou
Raised dirt poor in the tiny, south Arkansas town of Stamps, Maya Angelou did it all during her life, including working as a singer, driving a cab, starring in big-budget Hollywood movies and television shows and more. Her greatest fame, however, was as one of our nation’s greatest writers and poets, with her works winning and nominated for literature’s greatest prizes, including the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize. Her most famous work is the autobiographical novel “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings,” which has gone on to be lauded as both a classic of American Literature and an iconic work of African-American literature in particular. Many will remember her stirring reading of her poem “On the Pulse of the Morning” at President Bill Clinton’s inauguration in 1993. She passed away in 2014.
Helen Gurley Brown
Raised in Little Rock after moving there from the small town of Green Forest, Arkansas, where she was born in 1922, Helen Gurley Brown worked as an advertising copywriter before hitting the big time in 1962 with the publication of her then-scandalous New York Times bestselling book “Sex and the Single Girl.” The book launched Brown to both stardom and a status as a pioneer of a new and more forward-thinking movement about women and their place in the world. Promoted to the editor-in-chief of the famous Cosmopolitan Magazine in 1966, Brown pioneered the idea of “The Cosmo Girl,” a freewheeling, unmarried-and-loving-it woman with her own money and her own ideas. Brown would go on to champion this idea in several other books, including 1982’s “Having It All” and 2000’s “I’m Wild Again.” She passed away in 2012.
Mary Steenburgen
Few Arkansas actors have had a career to match that of Academy Award winner Mary Steenburgen. Born in Newport and raised in North Little Rock, Steenburgen made her first appearance on screen with a starring role in Jack Nicholson’s 1978 film “Goin’ South.” Since then, Steenburgen has starred in a dozens of critically-acclaimed and box office smash films, including “Ragtime,” “Parenthood,” “The Butcher’s Wife,” “Step Brothers,” “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape,” “Philadelphia,” “Back to the Future III” and many more. In 1981, she won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in “Melvin and Howard.” On the small screen, she has also starred in a number of critically-acclaimed shows, including “30 Rock,” “Wilfred,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Joan of Arcadia” and several others. Married to TV icon Ted Danson, her career shows no signs of slowing, and she and Danson occasionally get spotted in Little Rock, where they own a home.

“It Had To Be You,” by Frank Sinatra
Though the uber-romantic song “It Had to Be You” has been covered by crooners of all calibers, the tune was first recorded all the way back in 1924. The version by Frank Sinatra, however, is the classic, mostly thanks to Ol’ Blue Eyes’ rendition being included in the oh-so-romantic ending to the 1989 rom-com “When Harry Met Sally.” The perfect counterpoint to the film’s climactic scene — which we won’t spoil here! — the scene and the song get us sniffling every time.
“When a Man Loves a Woman,” by Percy Sledge
Another old favorite that has been covered by pretty much every soulful singer out there, from Michael Buble to Bette Midler, “When a Man Loves a Woman” was first recorded by the great R&B singer Percy Sledge back in 1966, with the sensuous lyrics about the lengths a man will go for the woman he loves helping the song rocket to the top of the Billboard 100. While it later turned out to be a huge hit again when Michael Bolton cut the tune in 1991, Sledge’s original rendition is still the ultimate version, and still soul-stirring in all the right ways.
“I Will Always Love You,” by Dolly Parton
Originally penned as Dolly Parton’s goodbye to her time with original duet partner and mentor Porter Wagoner, “I Will Always Love You” was a huge hit for Parton when it was released in 1974, but found new life when Whitney Houston recorded it for the top track on her film “The Bodyguard” in 1992. Houston’s version went straight to the top of the charts and stayed there for an incredible 14 weeks, becoming one of the biggest hits of her career. Whether you’re partial to Dolly or Whitney’s version, it’s still a love song superhit that speaks to the way we’ll always love those who once found a place in our heart.
“To Make You Feel My Love,” by Adele
Another love song that has been recorded by a laundry list of huge talents, “To Make You Feel My Love” was originally written by the great Bob Dylan for his 1997 album “Time Out of Mind,” but has since gone on to be a hit for everyone from Billy Joel to Garth Brooks to Kelly Clarkson. It is the soulful rendition by UK R&B sensation Adele that really rings our bells, however, with Adele’s smoky voice the perfect companion for this song about the lengths we’ll go to make those we love see our true feelings. Don’t it make you just want to kiss somebody?
“Crazy in Love,” by Beyonce
Though we’re clearly susceptible to the slow, sensual love songs, there’s always a place for burning passion on our playlist as well, which brings us to Beyonce’s red-hot 2003 hit “Crazy in Love.” Featuring Beyonce at her most ravenously untamed, with a hearty assist from her real-life husband Jay-Z, the song was the biggest hit off Bey’s debut album “Dangerously In Love” and has quite a bit of danger to it, as Beyonce careens through her rapid-fire ode to just how crazy passionate love can feel sometimes. Almost 20 years later, it’s still a lusty wonderland of a song.
Wherever you’re headed, going there with someone you love is sure to make every road trip better, as will the inclusion of any of these great, love-soaked hits on your road trip playlist. Need a great vehicle to get you to your love nest in style? Then stop in today for a test drive at McLarty Daniel Buick GMC, or check out our full selection at our website.

Chevrolet debuts totally redesigned 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban
Since all the way back in 1936, Chevrolet Suburban has been helping Americans find their way to new adventures with a great mix of trucklike capability and interior cargo room and comfort, making it the longest-running continuously-used nameplate of any manufacturer. And for the last 25 years, the Chevy Tahoe has been the Suburban’s shorter-wheelbase stablemate, with a winning blend of features and driveability.
Recently, Chevrolet announced the next chapter of the long story of Tahoe and Suburban, with the debut of the 2021 Tahoe and 2021 Suburban. Adopting the futuristic look and next-generation capability of the redesigned Chevy Silverado, the 2021 full-size Tahoe and Suburban are here to take your drive to the next level with more refinement, more power, more technology and more interior room than ever before.
While the new 2021 Suburban and Tahoe won’t be on the lot here at McLarty Daniel Chevrolet of Springdale until next spring, we’re excited to share everything we know about these incredible SUVs.
Since the beginning, Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe have shared styling with Chevrolet full-size pickup, and that continues with the 2021 models. In addition to a bold new front grille, hood and fenders, the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe share the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado’s cab-forward design, with a shorter hood and more interior room than ever before. Both the 2021 Tahoe and Suburban will feature class-leading interior space, including 60 percent more cargo room behind the third row for Tahoe, and 19 percent more maximum cargo space behind the first row for Suburban with the seats folded down.
The interior of both is dramatically upgraded and technology advanced as well, including a standard 10-inch in-dash touchscreen that’s the largest in class, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a segment-first 15 inch heads-up display that projects crucial data onto the windshield, and available dual 12.6-inch rear-seat entertainment screens.
Upping the interior room even more is the fact that for the first time, the second row seats in the 2021 Tahoe and Suburban can slide, adjusting 5.5 inches (140 mm) forward or backward to improve legroom and cargo room for both the second or third rows in seconds. Both the second- and third-row seats can also fold with less effort. Combined with a longer wheelbase and a flatter, lower floor, it’s a home run when it comes to utility.
The 2021 Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe are all-new under the skin as well, with a new drivetrain architecture with a fully-independent rear suspension and a longer wheelbase for more passenger room, hauling capacity, exterior proportions and driving dynamics. The revamped suspension creates a drastic improvement in both handling and ride smoothness while allowing the load floors to be significantly lower for easier loading and unloading. Also available on Tahoe and Suburban is the cutting edge Magnetic Ride Control, plus, for the first time in any SUV in its class, Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, for automatic load leveling and up to four inches more ground clearance at the touch of a button.
Under the hood, the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe continue to shine with updated V8 engines with dynamic fuel management for the ultimate in fuel economy plus best-in-class V8 horsepower of up to 420 hp. Prefer a diesel engine? The 2021 Tahoe and Suburban can deliver thanks to the all-new 3.0-liter Duramax turbo-diesel with unbeatable low-end torque and fuel economy. Nobody does towing better than Suburban and Tahoe, either, with best-in-class nine camera views and new trailering features including trailer profile memory, trailer tire pressure and temperature monitoring, and side blind zone alert that can be extended to cover a trailer in tow.
“With an increasing number of SUVs on the market, we knew the all-new Tahoe and Suburban needed to reach higher than ever,” said Tim Herrick, vice president, global product programs. “We transformed Tahoe and Suburban to offer all-new technologies and features and deliver a better driving experience, while staying true to the versatility and capability that have earned people’s trust for generations.”
Between the introduction of great new vehicles like the 2020 Chevy Blazer, 2021 Chevy Trailblazer, mid-engine 2020 Corvette and Chevrolet redesigning their entire full-size light-duty, heavy duty and SUV truck line in the past two years, it’s been an exciting time around here at McLarty Daniel Chevrolet of Springdale! Come share our excitement and check out the next generation of incredible Chevy vehicles. Stop in today for a test drive or pre-order a new Chevy Suburban, Tahoe, Trailblazer or Corvette, and be one of the first in Northwest Arkansas to own the next big thing from Chevrolet!
