1955 Chevrolet Bel Air

(1973)

This coming-of-age comedy classic directed by George Lucas and produced by Francis Ford Coppola takes place in the mid-1960s. The movie is about fast hot rods, cruising, and post-high-school teenage angst and stars a young Ron Howard, Richard Dreyfuss and Harrison Ford. Prior to Han Solo and Indiana Jones, Ford played Bob Falfa, the owner of the 1955 Bel Air 150 coupe above that he flips in a drag race.

1972 Chevy Corvette

In between the release of the sci-fi classic Star Wars: A New Hope (1977) and the making of its sequel Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back (1980), Mark Hamill was busy racing around in a modified 1972 Chevy Corvette in the comedy-adventure Corvette Summer. Hamill plays high schooler Ken Dantly Jr. who loves to design and build exotic cars. When his shop class project car, a fully tricked-out 1972 Corvette, gets stolen he begins his adventure in searching for it.

1977 Chevrolet K10 Cheyenne

(1984)

When battling a Russian-Cuban-Nicaraguan invasion on American soil, why not do it in a classic 1977 Chevrolet K10 Cheyenne. It was the perfect truck for Jeb Eckert, played by Patrick Swayze, and his band of teenage freedom-fighting football players in the cold-war era movie, Red Dawn.

1973 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu

(2011)

Ryan Gosling plays a nameless Hollywood stunt driver who moonlights as a getaway driver in this neo-noir crime where a botched million-dollar heist endangers the lives of everyone involved. Gosling’s character gets away in a street-tough 1973 Chevy Chevelle Malibu.
