Chevrolet introduces new 2020 Silverado Rally, Midnight Special Editions

Chevrolet Silverado has always been the truck with the most personality and the best customization options, and Chevrolet has upped the ante in recent years with a series of special, limited-edition Silverado models that bring even more attitude to Chevy’s flagship full-size truck. Recently, Chevrolet brought two more special editions to the table, with the all-new 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Rally and Midnight Editions. Introduced at this year’s Texas State Fair, the special models take style to the next level.

“Customer choice is a competitive advantage for Chevrolet, because no two truck drivers are alike,” said Mark Sobczynski, Silverado marketing manager. “Whether it’s the sinister Midnight Edition or a sporty Rally Edition – special editions offer our customers a custom look direct from the factory that fits their unique personality.”

The 2020 Silverado Midnight and Rally Editions can be ordered through McLarty Daniel Chevrolet of Springdale beginning in October. Read on for everything that puts the special in these two great special edition Chevys.

2020 SILVERADO MIDNIGHT EDITION

Available as an option package on the 2020 Silverado LT Trail Boss and Custom Trail Boss Trims, the Silverado Midnight Edition includes a truckload of off-road goodies, including a two-inch factory lift, Rancho mono-tube off-road shocks, a locking rear differential, steel skid plates to armor important suspension and drivetrain components, and Goodyear Duratrac off-road tires. Visually, the 2020 Silverado Midnight Edition lives up to its name while going way into the black, with 18-inch black-painted wheels, black grille, black Chevy bowties, black bumpers, black exhaust tips and black tubular side steps. The one pop of color is red frame-mounted recovery hooks. Backing up that attitude is either the 5.3-liter V8 or the 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8.

2020 SILVERADO RALLY EDITION

While the Silverado Midnight Edition is all about off-road performance, the 2020 Silverado Rally Edition takes that same tough look to the streets for a tough street-fighter look. Available on the Custom and RST trims, the 2020 Silverado Rally Edition is available in Black, Red Hot, Silver Ice Metallic or Summit White paint. The look is completed with a body-color grille, classic Rally stripes on the hood and tailgate, black Chevrolet tailgate lettering, black badges, Bowties, exhaust tips and steps, pluc 20 inch black-painted wheels on the Custom Rally, or 22-inch wheels on the RST Rally Edition. Under the hood, you can choose from either the 2.7-liter turbo four, the 5.3-liter V8, or the 420-horse 6.2-liter V8.
