The park offers 30 campsites, 10 cabins, a swimming pool, marina with boat rentals, an ample-size pavilion, and picnic sites.

MOUNT NEBO STATE PARK

Are you seeking quiet accommodations with wandering hiking trails and scenic sunsets? You should visit Mount Nebo State Park! It’s just over two hours southeast of Springdale and 45 minutes west from Arkansas wine country. Mount Nebo offers plenty of lodging with 15 rustic cabins available, 12 of which are located on bluffs and have breathtaking views of the river valley. There are also 34 campsites throughout the grounds as well as a maintained swimming pool, tennis courts, picnic areas, pavilions, and a quaint visitor center with gift shop.

CROWLEY’S RIDGE STATE PARK

To get out of your familiar zone with local sites, hop into your 2021 Chevy and blaze across the state to Paragould, AR to check out Crowley’s Ridge State Park! The park has plenty to offer for outdoor fun and relaxation. Nestled in the forested hills of Northeast Arkansas, Crowley’s Ridge contains a 31-acre fishing lake with a good-sized swimming area. The park offers fishing boats, kayaks, and pedal boat rentals. Dotted across the state park are facilities that include five bunk cabins for group lodging, four duplex cabins with kitchens and fireplaces, one rustic cabin with a kitchen, and 26 campsites for roughing it.
